set design: Barbara Hanicka
costume design: Michał Dracz
music: Miłosz Pękala

lighting design: Aleksandr Prowaliński

In a magical, seemingly-rural world, in an unspecified era, a mysterious feblik (Old Polish for an ‘infatuation’) attacks an adolescent girl called Mania.
It is the usual, hungry period before spring’s new crop of food, but, of course... the devil never sleeps. It's so cold you could chop the air with an axe. Grandma is happy cooking by the stove, but something falls off her, and in the spring it is supposed to take root. We accompany the heroine through her fears and surprise at the world, in her despair and her fight for independence.
